KCET 2024 :-
KCET 2024 was conducted by KEA for admission to UG courses like Engineering colleges, pharma, BSc colleges . KEA is a Karnataka gov body which conducted the exam on 18th and 19th April 2024. The results were declared on 1st June after 2nd PUC results were announced.
From June 25 to June 29, the Karnataka Examination Authority verified the documents for the KCET 2024. Karnataka Examination Authority has also announced the fee structure for the year 2024.KEA is yet to announce dates for the counselling process.
KCET counselling process is a centralized allotment process. Here at first students will be asked give their preferred colleges and courses in a order. Students need to wisely fill the option entry in a correct order. If any student or parent need any help regarding option entry or if they want to know best college and course for their rank, they can contact us.
Students and parents need not worry about the process as KEA will organize a mock allotment round before real counselling takes place. Usually after mock round there will be some time given to change the colleges or courses after which they will announce the result. Then students will be given option to either accept the college and pay or accept the college and continue in counselling. Usually, this is best option for most students. Students can also reject the college they have got or they can get out of counselling if they get other college from different exam. It is advised that students and parents sit together decide as it is very important decision.
Usually after the second round of counselling students would have to pay the fees. Students need not worry, if they choose to sit for second extended round and get a better college the money will transferred to new college. Sometimes, there will be a spot round, it is a special round for unfilled seats. It is very important to keep an eye for this as many students do not apply for spot round and many students have gotten good colleges in this round.
